NSA Welcomes 4 New Athletes

The Norfolk Sports Academy are proud to welcome 4 more athletes into the programme for the 2016-2017 year. These 4 athletes cover a diverse range of ages and sports and we look forward to working with all 3 of them in the future. Athletes:

Nikolas Charalambous, 25, Snooker - Nikolas has represented and captained the England Unversities side in the Home Nations tournament, and finished runner up in the 2015 & 2016 BUCS Snooker Championship.

Iain Dawson, 39, Para-triathlon - competing in the PT5 class Iain is a 2x Paratri World Champion and is currently ranked 16th in the World.

Julie Henson, 29, Fencing - Julie is ranked 8th in the women's senior national epee rankings, and has represented Great Britain at World Cup and most recently at a Satellite event in Oslo, Norway.

Matthew Johnson, 20, Kayaking - Matthew is part of the GB Development Kayaking Team, which has recently seen him compete in Sanabria Internation K4 series in Spain, as well as being the record holder for in the Junior K2 class at the Medway Marathon and Waterside Series.
